all we are, all we are, is everything that's right
The waiting is the hardest part.

I'm about 3 weeks away from my last night in Malaysia. This waiting period is making me feel lost.

I feel lost. I feel like, I don't belong to somewhere.

My emotions hadn't had time to settle down. The fact that I'm always occupied has left me wondering if whatever I'm doing now is right or wrong.

I'm not used to this. I feel like a stranger. I feel emotionless.

I feel like there's something missing.

There are people in my life that I really miss and would like to spend more time with. Some I might never see again, some I don't wanna see leave.

I feel like, the road ahead is not that convincing anymore. Maybe, the downfall has not ended.

Sigh, the clock's ticking.

A Tuesday38 tribute.

Of all the bands that I've played for, Tuesday38 has to be the most solid, ambitious, and funnest band to play with.

When I first joined the band, I was like the stranger and the out one there. But it took little time for me to blend in with the guys and the style and stuff.

I can't really say that all of us had the same taste for music but at the end of every session, we all shared the common satisfaction of doing pieces that suited all of us.

Although we were more towards alternative rock, I really enjoyed our jazz sessions.

13 June 09

Joel, Garrett, Su-Ann and me doing jazz instrumental at my cousin's wedding dinner. The whole experience was something new, something different.

17 July 09

Our first real gig at PJ Hilton, INTI Ball.

We didn't do much gigs because we formed the band around the end of last year and most of us were busy with work and studies.

We usually practice on Tuesdays, and our sessions would cost us RM38, hence, Tuesday38 ;p

Last Tuesday, we had our last jam session at 12 Records in SS15. It's a good studio, 30 per hour and they charge for instruments, but still good. Near Noodle Station if you wanna know.

We had fun, no stress session, where everyone had their hair loose, doing what we enjoy, no pressure from any upcoming gigs.

Garrett, I got to know the band through you and if we didn't had that conversation on MSN that night about doing music, all of this wouldn't have happened.

Joel, you're the closest to me amongst the band. I loveeeee your awesome jazz pieces on your awesome guitar and Line 6. You steady, much. Thanks for listening and helping out so much with lots of stuff.

Piao, you have a wife and baby to take care but you still make it to practices and gigs. I think you're the most hardworking member in the band and what you do will definitely pay off.

Victor, awesome drumming! You're still in high school, that means you've got so much more to catch! Keep doing what you do and I hope to see you one day become some sorta professional drummer or something ;D

Serene, amazing voice, awesome harmonizing. Don't let confidence bring you down. And please win that modelling competition you're in now. I wanna see you on some cover page or better still, on the billboard modelling for MNG or something haha!

You guys gave me an awesome experience. We may not be as good or as successful as other bands, but we had lots of fun doing what we all enjoyed doing, music.

I'll miss you guys and all of this. Hopefully for all of you, this won't end here (;

This is the start of the long goodbyes. Goodbye guys (;

Guy : Hello, parking meter.
Parking Meter : Helluuu.
Guy : =O

Yesterday we went to some pub in Lake View to see some dance competition and to support Cherly's failed performance. It was pretty much a waste of time and I'm kinda lazy to blog about it because it was a fail but I'll just show you some pictures.

Today I woke up at 8.30am and followed Cherly to Atria for some warehouse sale. The queue was like crazy! There were so many people and the line was like super long!

20% of the crowd

The queue covered the entire floor of Atria. And that was before the store even opened wth.

I got in and browsed through then I went to make my eye wear already. The guys stuff not nice damn lala wth.

When I say eye wear I mean like, contacts + specs + shades = COMBO WHORE!!

Later in the day, I spent my entire afternoon in Jun's house playing Modern Warfare 2 ZOMG AWESOME!

p.s. all the best to those sitting for stpm and those getting their monash results next week

KL Day Trip (failed)

Loong, Estee (Loong's gf), Cherly, and me went down to KL for a day trip yesterday.

Our plans were to like, walk around KL and look at nice places and stuff. But it was pretty much a FAIL due to shopping wth.

We started off visiting the ant colony at the KTM station.

We were like starving so as soon as we reached Pudu we went to some famous siu yok shop near Time Square.

"blablabla...afternoon 12:30pm...blablabla thank you"

I assume they start serving at 12.30pm.

And yes, it was the juiciest, tastiest, yummiest siu yok I have ever eaten in my entire 19 years of life.

Siu yok <3

Then we went to Time Square to walk around for awhile. But note this, there is no such thing as "walk around" when you go out with Cherly, there's only "shop around".

oversized calculator perfect for Loong

mannequin version of Cherly

retardation!

Next stop was Pavilion. I don't know whether to say it was a big mistake going there but I'll say it anyways IT WAS A BIG MISTAKE GOING THERE wth!

nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu......

Loong and Estee

mat-rempit china

oh Ferns joined us in Pavilion later

We wasted almost like the entire afternoon in Pavilion where we could be outside on the KL streets walking around. FAIL.

After all the boring shopping and face-giving to Cherly, we went to Lot 10 for dinner. Apparently some dude gathered all the famous stalls around Malaysia and Singapore and chucked them in Lot 10 or something.

Everyone ordered like, quite okay dishes (except Ferns, double fail) but mine was like, the BOMB! Singapore Hakka Prawn Mee ZOMG JUCY YUM! But I forgot to take picture.

By then all of us were like dying already so we decided to go home. Sigh I wanted to go KLCC or something at night but shopping made this trip a FAIL!

you were shaded with patience
Yesterday was long but productive yay.

Cherly, CK, Ferns, Loong, Loong's gf, and me went to Klang for Bak Kut Teh yum *thumbs up*

It was okay only la. I had better ones with Nick and gang. The real Klang people know where to find yummy bkt.

Cherly was so kind (; she volunteered to sit in the back(boot) of Loong's Harrier. And apparently it was quite comfy wth.

After that we went for badminton at USJ23, ai laik.

Later that night...

...we went to Mist at Bangsar.

mmm...beer...

Only me and another girl were like dressed for the occasion among our group. Due to some privacy issues, I will not post up pictures of the group.

That was Wednesday.

Today, I just came back from Parade. Had lunch with Cherly, Jun, and Spagz at Nando's, again I know right like wth but it's nice I'm beginning to like it <3

Later going swimming at Saujana, I hope.
